FILM SCREENING REPORT

Film screening of July 2010, on 17th July at YMCA Conference hall, was a great success.
Over 60 persons and an average 40 for all shows attended the screening despite being a working day.

Good response about the films screened, YOL, HIDDEN HALF, CRIMSON GOLD and INDOOR was really a motivating factor.

Media was also well supportive with program announcement and good write ups on festival.

Sri. K P Kumaran presented a well thought lecture on the cinema-creativity- and government control, followed by a discussion on it.

Our sincere thanks to all participants, Sr. K P Kumaran, and all media friends for the support extended to us.

Award Winning Cinematographer with over 125 Feature Films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Arabic and English. B.Sc. Graduate in Chemistry from Loyola College , Madras (Chennai) and obtained Diploma in Cinema ( Motion Picture Photography ) from the prestigious FILM INSTITUTE OF INDIA , PUNE. ( 1968 - 71)
Debut film "VIDYARTHIKALEY ITHILE ITHILE" - Malayalam Feature film Directed by John Abraham. Have been associated as the Cinematographer of many Nationally and Internationally renowned Film Directors such as John Abraham, Ramu Kariat, Sethu Madhavan, P.N.Menon, Bharathan, K.G.George, M.T.Vasudevan Nair, I.V.Sasi, Sasi Kumar, Hariharan, Mohan, Mani Rathnam, Lohitha Das etc Lives in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State, INDIA Hobbies include Reading, Painting in Water Colours and Writing Poetry in English. Some of the Poems were published in various magazines. Creator of CINEKU, an unique genre of Short Film combining Cinema with Japanese Haiku Poetry format
